- Why: Completing a field placement in the areas of international social work, human rights, and adoption
I am a student attending the University at Buffalo working towards a master’s degree in social work. I’ve chosen to complete an international field placement in Seoul, Korea because I have a special interest in human rights issues for marginalized and oppressed people, particularly those affected by Korean adoption.
I am a member of the Korean diaspora. I was raised in an adoptive, mixed-race family in Western New York and currently reside there with my husband, and our three cats.
